He attended Wayne State University in Michigan, USA for his undergraduate training, followed by medical training (M.D) at the University of Ottawa, and his five year ophthalmic surgical residency training at the Ivey Eye Institute at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Shasha has a strong passion in medical education. He started an educational Instagram account in January of 2016 which has since generated over 1500 posts and 14,500 followers.

Prof. Renato Ambrósio Jr, M.D., Ph.D. is a world-class refractive surgeon, who is considered a true clinician-scientist.

His major areas of interest are corneal tomography, biomechanical imaging and wavefront, custom laser vision correction, refractive cataract surgery, and therapeutic procedures for keratoconus.

He was the last president of the Brazilian Society of Refractive Surgery until the creation of BRASCRS. He is the elected president of the ISRS for 2020-22.

He was voted the 11th most influential ophthalmologist by The Ophthalmologist in 2014, and again was included among the top 100 in 2016 and 2018.

Revathy Mani

Dr Revathy Mani is a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Australia with a special interest in studying eye movement deficits in Traumatic Brain Injury.

She was awarded a Ph.D. in 2021 from UNSW, Sydney.

She served as an optometrist in India from 2002-2016 and headed the department of Binocular Vision and Neuro-optometry. She is a fellow of Neurooptometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), USA and a recipient of the 2019 Ezell Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Optometry Foundation for her research contribution.

She is an active member of AAO & ARVO and had published many peer-reviewed publications.

Richard Packard

Richard Packard was a consultant at the Prince Charles Eye Unit in Windsor England from 1982-2016.

He started using phacoemulsification in 1979 and in that year inserted the world’s first folded soft IOL during a rabbit study.

In 1990 he implanted the very first Acrysof IOL.

He has lectured and operated in 61 countries on all aspects of cataract surgery and written many peer reviewed papers and book chapters.

She is a glaucoma faculty at LV Prasad Eye Institute since 2007 and she heads the Glaucoma service at LVPEI from 2012 to date.

She specializes in managing refractory adult and pediatric glaucomas with a focus on glaucoma drainage devices and Secondary glaucomas.

She has published over 148-scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and received several Best Scientific papers and Best video awards at various national and international fora.
